CBI Board Members


The CBI board is elected by members and are all volunteers.

Chair Will Robedee is the General Manager of KTRU, and Staff Adviser for Rice Broadcast Television (RBT) at Rice University in Houston. Will has been actively involved in radio since 1983, both commercially and non commercially, and has written articles for numerous trade publications. Will was also involved 'in the trenches; with respect to the webcasting rates and terms, including the negotiations which led to the final outcome. Send or call 1-877-ASK-CBI1!


VC Man! Ron Bland is on the broadcast faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington. He also created and serves as an advisor to UTA Radio, the university's Internet radio station. His background includes radio news and over twenty years in video production and still photography. Send or call 1-877-ASK-CBI1!


ST Dr. Randyll Yoder is Assistant Professor of Communications and Director of Broadcasting at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. He is director of WWEC-FM radio and ECTV-40 cable channel at E-Town, both student-operated media. Dr. Yoder has operated student media outlets for over twenty years in five different states and has been responsible for creating two communications education programs at the collegiate level. Once upon a long time ago, Randy was in professional radio in Ohio and has six years experience in public broadcasting, radio and TV. . Send or call 1-877-ASK-CBI1!


Development! Candace Walton is General Manager of KSDB-FM, Director for Orion Online (K-State's Student Web Agency), and Assistant Professor at Kansas State University. Candy has been advising college radio since 1998. She is a self-described student media enthusiast. Send or call 1-877-ASK-CBI1!


Student Contact! Lex Davies is the Promotions Director for KSBR- FM and a student at Saddleback College in California. Her passion for radio began in 2000, when she became a DJ and the Promotions Director for WNHU in West Haven, Connecticut. Unable to cope with the frigid winters, Lex eventually left the East Coast for warmer weather, and went back to her home state of California. She hopes to break into the LA or San Diego markets just like every other DJ out there... well almost every other DJ. Send or call 1-877-ASK-CBI1!
