- Here is an excellent link which examines the FCC expectations concerning the noncommercial nature of educational broadcasting.
- When this topic is raised in certain circles, the question of "Enhanced Underwriting" often comes up. The FCC offers some more insights and more recent actions on this page.

It is important to note that:
- Rates are dependent on the station programming, audience size and community.
- Our notations as to the type of station are generalizations and may not accurately reflect the ideal of the station or your categorization.
- CBI has not screened the content of the sites and makes no representations concerning the contents of the site. Use the material at your own discretion. Consultation with an attorney is recommended. CBI can provide guidance!
- CBI welcomes examples of rate cards for unlicensed TV and radio operations. Please submit your url's and documents to CBI!
- Many stations do not post their "rates" on the website because they prefer to contact prospects directly. Most that do this provide general information concerning sponsorships and provide contact information.
